How should I wash and care for my Mouton Filant pieces?

Treat them gently and they’ll shine for longer ✨

  • Temperature: Wash at 30°C (max 40°C for cotton socks).

  • Inside out: Turn garments inside out to protect reflective yarns.

  • Bag it: Use a wash bag (especially for items with reflective threads or embellishments).

  • No bleach / no softener: They can dull colours and damage elastane.

  • Detergent: Go easy—a little goes a long way.

  • Air dry: No tumble dryer; hang to dry to keep shape (and save energy).

  • Snip, don’t rip: Use scissors to cut tags/threads—don’t pull.

Why it matters: Good care = longer life, less over-consumption, happier rides. 🌿


Microfibres & care for the planet

All synthetic blends (even recycled) can shed tiny fibres in the wash. A microfibre-capture wash bag helps—simple, effective, planet-kind.

We design in Paris and produce in small runs with trusted partners. Each batch goes through quality checks (fit, colour, durability, reflective performance). If something slips through, tell us—we’ll make it right.


Where are your products made?

We work with carefully selected workshops in China. We visit regularly and meet virtually, keep a close eye on production, and only proceed with partners who share our standards on quality, people, and environment.


Are colours exactly as shown?

We shoot in natural light and avoid heavy retouching. Still, screens and lighting can shift tones slightly. Need help choosing? Message us—we’ll describe the shade in real life.
